Hello Everyone! As a college student, I'm always looking for a good dupe. I'm a firm believer that expensive does not always equal better (but sometimes it does) and that it shouldn't be so challenging to find makeup that is good quality without the price tag to match. So without further ado, I give to you, my favorite drugstore makeup products!

L'Oréal True Match Lumi Foundation

The L'Oréal Lumi foundation is a new favorite of mine! It's a great formula for dry skin because it definitely brings out the glow in your skin. I love this foundation because it's a great match to my summer skin tone. My body tends to get pretty dark during the summer but my face doesn't, so I've had to match my foundation to my skin rather than the actual color of my face. The other thing I love love love about this foundation is that it comes in different colors based on your undertones. I'm a neutral undertone, so a lot of makeups either look too yellow on me or too pinkish. L'Oréal makes this foundation specifically for neutral undertones (in addition to warm and cool undertones) and I'm so glad I gave this foundation a try!

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation

The Maybelline Fit Me Foundation has been my go-to for probably the last 3 years. I've purchased and repurchased this product to no end, and in different colors to match my skin tone as the seasons change. This product comes in a wide variety of colors and I really love the way it blends out on my skin. I also like that it comes in two formulas, one for dry skin, and one for oily skin. I have combination skin so I was able to use one or the other depending on how my skin was feeling that day. Definitely a staple in my makeup collection!

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

Alright, this concealer is honestly a godsend. I've been repurchasing it since I was probably 14 and didn't know anything about makeup. I love it as an under-eye concealer, and it's great to put on any spots that may creep up overnight. I've also used it as a subtle highlight on my forehead and chin. I've found it's best to blend this concealer out with my ring finger, even though I normally warn against using your hands to apply makeup. A beauty sponge also does a pretty good job if you're really concerned about any bacteria transfer, but I do prefer to use my fingers for this one.

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer

This bronzer is nothing short of incredible! I used to be a dancer, so I've seen my share of stage makeup, including bronzer. Trust me when I say, this bronzer gives a natural look, nothing orange or too harsh here! This bronzer is even manageable for those people like me who tend to opt for a more natural look and who aren't beauty gurus. The physicians formula bronzer has such a smooth formula and doesn't cake up on you. I love the whole physicians formula brand because they keep their products free of added fragrances and known skin irritants, which is great for people with sensitive skin like me. I'm happy wearing this because I know it won't make my skin break out!

NYX Micro Brow Pencil

I'm definitely not a brow artist. Honestly, applying any sort of makeup to my brows can be a bit daunting. This brow pencil changed all that. It's so easy to use and it is really easy to apply a very light amount so my brows don't look overdone or drawn on. I tend to save filling in my brows for special occasions, but this pencil has helped take some of the stress out of my makeup routine. An added bonus, this brow pencil is used as a dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz!

Covergirl Nudes TruNaked Eyeshadow Palette

I can't explain in words how much I love this eyeshadow palette! I tend to opt for a natural eye, typically something taupe, rosey, or gold-ish, and this palette is all of those colors. It comes with 4 metallic colors and 5 matte ones. I love the metallic gold (5th from left in the image) for a night out with friends and the taupey brown (4th from left) is great for my everyday look! Almost all of these colors are pretty much foolproof and none of them are so pigmented that you're going to go overboard right away and have to restart your whole eye makeup look. It's a great novice palette overall and I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

NYX Epic Ink Liner

This eyeliner has changed my makeup for the better. I used to be terrified of liquid liners. As a girl with fairly unsteady hands, I always assumed that liquid liners just wouldn't be a part of my makeup routine. I was absolutely wrong, and I'm so happy. This liner is in the form of a felt tipped pen, which makes application super easy! It's got a really sharp tip so I can do wings if I'm feeling like trying something new. I've also heard that this eyeliner is a dupe for the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner. Same quality, half the price. That's the kind of makeup I'm all about!

L'Oréal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara

Last, but certainly not least, is the L'Oréal Voluminous Mascara. I'm fairly picky about my mascaras, and this one is at the top of my drugstore list. My eyelashes are fairly long naturally, so I usually look for a product that will darken them, add a touch of length and help them look thicker, and that's exactly what this product does. I'm so glad I discovered this mascara and I have a feeling it will be in my repertoire for quite some time.

So that's all I have for now. I hope you'll try out some of these products! Let me know what your drugstore beauty favorites are down in the comments!

Until next time,
Sarah
